A little bit about Amy…

Amy Fond works with executives, spokespeople + celebrities to ensure they’re prepared and confident in front of the camera, speaking in public, or interviewing with journalists. Throughout her career, Amy has earned seven Telly Awards, the Bronze Anvil Award, three Houston Worldfest Awards and a Bronze Sabre – recognizing superior achievement in the ability of a campaign to produce real, measurable results.

Amy takes the GWGWG stage to talk about three things you can do to be a better communicator.

Amy is a Senior Media Trainer and Presentations Coach with over 20 years of journalism experience. She specializes in crafting impactful messages and teaches clients how to confidently connect with audiences. 

Amy has built a reputation in the industry as an effective and engaging media professional who is committed to her clients’ goals. Her workshops provide a fresh, lively and tailored approach to help clients proactively communicate engage and persuade.

From global banks to medical pioneers and beauty industry leaders, Amy’s varied client list includes CEOs, celebrity stylists and politicians. Her workshops have ensured successful appearances on countless broadcasts including CNBC, the Today Show and the Ellen Show, as well as helped garner quotes in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and more. 

As a journalist Amy has earned many of the industry’s highest honors and awards. Her newsroom knowledge comes from many overnights, weekends and holidays in the trenches at WPVI, ABC in Philadelphia and Fox News Channel in New York. She also earned her public relations stripes as a media strategist and senior producer, creating branded content for companies across TV, radio and the internet. 

Amy has helped develop Communication Workshops at Ivy League universities and global corporations, and is also an active fundraiser for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation + St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Amy is a graduate of the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.
